Ruru was walking around begging for someone to take her in. And she's such a doll that her foster mom was only too happy to oblige. This is what her foster says about her:

This beauty followed me down the street in Brooklyn one day purring up a storm and wouldn’t stop nudging my legs until I picked her up. I’d never seen a stray cat act so loving and knew I had to find her a home. Ruru is one of the sweetest cats I’ve ever known. She is incredibly affectionate and playful and will just melt in your arms. She’s birthed and cared for several kittens in her short time on this earth and now this momma needs a break! She is fixed and ready to go to her forever home where I know she will light up your life. I’ll miss this incredibly loving kitty and her big, sparkly personality. You really couldn’t ask for a better cat.
