My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tilly a 4 year old, 42 lbs., (needs to gain some weight) lab aussie mix. Her family could no longer care for her due to domestic issues. Tilly was definitely neglected and needed TLC and vet care. Her family claimed she could barely walk. We had 2 doctors look at her back legs and radiograph both legs nothing significant was found. Both doctors believed with walking a good diet, Tilly will regain her loss muscles mass in both her back legs. (Tilly was kept on cold floor in a crate the majority of the day.) Tilly is close to perfection here at PWD! She won't be here too long! She will make an amazing addition to any family! So happy we were able to help this family, cause Tilly is a gem! (and we have had NO issues with her back end, she even climbs stairs)

Tilly likes other dogs but loves being around her people. Tilly was fostered overnight to one of our trusted adopters, here is what she had to say about our Miss Tilly.

"Helping Tilly find her way to a better life was an amazing honor, because she is an amazing girl. From the first moment my family saw her, she never stopped wagging her tail and snuggling up for ear scratches and pats. Despite the fact that she was so skinny and her sad brown eyes told a story of neglect, Tilly's loving heart showed through! She had her first bath with us and was very docile and sweet, even though she was scared and in a new place. She spent her first night with us curled up under a fuzzy blanket with my daughter on her bed. She completely ignored our mean cat, who glared at her, and was an absolute angel on the long road trip to meet Mike from PWD. She couldn't have been better behaved in any way."
