Meet Lucky!

This sweet girl is a 3 year old small Shepherd mix. She is already spayed, fully-vaccinated, potty trained, and gets along great with other dogs! She is a very sociable, friendly dog who loves to play, run, and enjoys a lot of cuddles and hugs from her humans.

Lucky was found behind a bench near a residential apartment building in China during one of the hottest days this past summer. Lucky reportedly would not leave the bench for weeks, clearly waiting for her owner, and out of concern for her safety, the rescue found her and brought her to a local hospital. It was later revealed that Lucky's owner had heartlessly abandoned her when he returned to his home country overseas and did not want to take her with him.

Lucky has a unique look because she has a small bump on her forehead. Upon being examined by our veterinarian, it was determined that the bump is a benign osteoma that is not operable due to its sensitive location. However, this condition has been cleared by our veterinarian and does not impact her health at all, and so she will still live a long, full, healthy life! She is now in New York and ready for adoption, all she needs is to find her new family!
