He’s a loveable and energetic 5+ year old Walker Hound. He just wants to play, be hugged and sniff out things. I adopted Jax last July at the Battle Creek Shelter and over the last few months, I have been thinking hard about my busy lifestyle. He just isn’t getting the attention and time he deserves from me. I love him dearly, but feel I need to do what is best for him. I want to find a home for him where he can be outside more, where he can chase squirrels and the wind, where there is more human interaction.
He loves going to the dog park and plays well with other dogs. He also loves children and other people. I am not sure how he would do with cats. He is crate trained, house-broken and micro-chipped. Jax is about 50lbs and healthy. He loves walks with his gentle leader. Jax recieves his vet care at Companion Animal Clinic and is up-to-date on all of his shots.
A fenced-in yard is essential, he is a hound and when he's on a scent there is no stopping him. He is a very sweet boy.
