My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Wagner and I am currently being fostered in Charleston, SC. You can call me Wag because that is what I do with my tail all day long! If interested in adopting Wag, please complete an online application at:
https://schnauzerloverescue.net/2015/index.php/applications/adoption-application.
Be sure to add my name as the dog you are interested in adopting at the end of the application.

I was found as a stray and taken in by SLR. They think I am about 5 months old. I weigh about 13 pounds, am black in color, and have natural ears and tail. I am up-to-date with my puppy shots, neutered, and on Heartworm Preventatives. I am a puppy, and act like one, so I will need to be with someone who is patient and willing to work on continuing to train me. I have been learning to sit and come. I walk pretty well on a leash. I am doing well on the house training, but still have a time or two when my foster mom makes faces at me and groans.

I sleep in the crate and hang out there for about 5 or 6 hours while foster mom works. The rest of the time I like to play with my foster brothers, keep up with the cats activities, and see what kind of puppy trouble I can get into.

I would do best in a home with another dog who would like to play with me in a fenced yard. I like dogs, cats, people, and kids, but probably would do best in a home without kids or one with older kids.

I am a schnauzer mix, but please consider me a mix of puppy sweetness and love who would love to grow up with my forever family! Is that you?
