Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Blas | male | 41 lbs | Terrier X | neutered | UTD
First off we would like to mention that Blas is a recent graduate of Doggytime Canine Education, and has been working hard with a trainer to become the best boy he can be for his future family. Congratulations Blas!! Just like any graduating student his future is Bright!
Blas is a very easy going and fun dog. He walks great on a leash follows commands. He is really is bright and pays attention well. He comes to you fully house and crate trained! Blas likes the simple things in life like hanging with his peeps and playing with his squeaky toys. He loves to play outside in the sunshine, or just cuddle up with the family, he’s the best of both worlds. He has a quirky and sweet personality and will turn any frown upside down!
Blas has come to us with some fears and inhibitions and has improved greatly since we’ve been working with him. He really has come a long way! But, he can sometimes be a little fearful of men. So, If you have a confident, yet calm energy that you can project towards Blas, it would really help improve his chances and give him more possibilities in his search for the perfect forever home! (If you don’t fall in love with him and keep him for yourself that is!)
His personality can really shine through and he needs someone to let him be his happy go lucky self. Blas wants to prove to you how sweet loving and very smart he really is. It’s amazing the challenges he has overcome in his life and if any dog deserves a chance to shine, it’s this scruffy and adorable boy. Are you up for the challenge of helping our furry friend come into his full self?
Cats No
Children No
Blas has graduated from his Doggytime Canine Education Course (DCEC) and he's ready for his new furever home.
Blas is more comfortable with female humans vs. male humans, however if a male human is willing to be patient and allow Blas the time and space he needs to become comfortable then he'll quickly start to trust him. Our trainer can help with this.
Blas would be better suited to an adult only home.
Apart from some nervous tendencies, Blas is a wonderful dog. He walks well on a leash, is crate trained and house trained. Blas loves his squeaky toys as well!
He enjoys the company of his humans, once he gets to know them. None of us are free of a past, but it doesn’t mean we don’t deserve patience and love.
If you are willing and able to give Blas the love he deserves and the patience he needs, please fill out an application.
