OCTOBER - We are so bummed to see Felix back here! I mean don't get us wrong, he is incredibly handsome, with his unique gorgeous reverse brindle coat. Felix was said to be returned because they "no longer wanted him (ouch) and due to medical." We aren't sure what that medical part means and assume it is personal human medical issues with the last adoptive family, as we aren't aware of any medical issues Felix has, nor did they list any for him. Felix was easy to leash, knew the drill and walked out confidently. Outside he was a bit independent, surveying the lot and searching around. Once he got that out of the way, he greeted me with wonderful kisses and showed off his sit for treats. I love this guy. He has such a cool, confident relaxed energy when we were hanging out. Walks nicely on leash and was really well behaved. Never jumped on me once.Felix is a really smart boy and smart boys need out of the shelter environment quickly to keep their minds enriched. Poor Felix was not interested in going back in kennel, I don't blame him and felt so bad. We hope this next time will be forever for our most handsome boy!
Felix attends dog playgroup. He can be selective with some male dogs. He likes some chase with physical contact mixed in. He can sometimes put his head over other dogs which some don’t appreciate.
Surrendered due to "medical? (unsure if this is owner medical) and no longer want" ; was also stated to have lived with other dogs and got along with them.
JULY - Felix is such a love! He’s a gorgeous boy who walks nicely on leash and is looking for a family to call his own. Felix is so gentle; he enjoys cuddles and kisses and would love nothing more than to have his own family to shower him with affection. Felix met some dogs through the fence and seemed interested some play time. Felix is already neutered and ready to go home!
