My story

My name is Dolce and I am 12 years old. I am a lot of cat to handle. I know what I want and am not afraid to let you know. I hope to find a cat savvy home that will let me be me. I am looking for a home with lots of treats and places to nap. Are you ready for a cat with a lot of personality???

OUR ADOPTION POLICY:

Step 1: Complete an Adoption Request at https://www.orcaspets.org/cat-adoption-request-form.html

Step 2: Requests are reviewed and meet and greets are scheduled.

Step 3: Meet and greet with adoption interview.

Step 4: Adoption if the pet is an appropriate match.

Our adoption policy is to give preference to San Juan County residents when scheduling meet and greets for adoptable pets. We have also chosen not to adopt pets outside of Washington State but are happy to direct you to a shelter in your area.

Additional adoption info

Our shelter is located on Orcas Island in Washington State. Our adoption policy is to always try to find a suitable home for a pet here on island before looking else where. If a suitable owner is not found, we then widen our search to those in San Juan County and outlying areas. If you are looking to adopt from outside of the U.S., please be aware that this would be highly unlikely and only under special circumstances that we would choose to do so.
