Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Earl was bought as kitten at pet store by daughter and her roommates while in college - who promptly discovered their lease didn't allow pets. Thus, Earl moved in to our house. He is extremely affectionate and attached to those who live in the house, and he is an "inside" cat. However, he is aggressive at times to some visitors (others he is fine with). Despite leaving him alone, letting him have his space, etc., he will choose some visitors to become aggressive with and attempt to scratch. Since we have a new granddaughter, we don't want to take the risk that Earl may be aggressive with her. We didn't want to have him declawed, etc., so we would like to find him a good home. We aren't experienced cat owners, so perhaps someone more familiar with cat behavior (and without kids) would be able to provide a better environment for him. He is not aggressive with all visitors. However, we have yet to be able to predict whom he will be ok with. Earl is approx. 5 yrs old.
