My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Charlie is looking for a fur-ever home. He came to us in July from an abusive situation. It took him a little bit to warm up, but he eventually did. He is still a little skittish and has intense reaction to anything that sounds like a whip.

He is very loyal and affectionate. He is playful and energetic like most one year old puppies are. A female human would suit him best as he seems to be more scared of men. I have two teenage sons who he loves to pieces, but their friends, not so much. He is scared around my 7 to 11 yrs old nieces, but just avoids them. He hasn't shown aggression, mostly fear. He does let me know if someone is walking up to the door. He gets along well with my 3 year old Male dog but we have witnessed him have an issue with another younger dog.

Are you interested in making Charlie part of your family? I want to avoid bringing him to a shelter if possible. I love him to death, but I'm just gone too much.
