My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet handsome young Colt. At just 6 to 8-months old, this blue-eye heart-thief will have you in stitches as you laugh at his antics and awkward mannerisms. Of course, as with most rescues, we can't be sure what Colt really is, but those pale eyes and massive size scream Weimaraner (Colt is already nearly 70 pounds). Also, check out that rudder he calls a tail. Don't you think this guy would like a swim?

Colt knows some basic commands and is good with other dogs. He walks well on a leash and is always looking to please. True to his breed guess and age, he's got some energy and is going to need a playmate or something to keep his mind and body going. His favorite thing in his foster home is his people, though. He enjoys interactive games, such as fetch and chase. He also enjoys going potty outside, which he is getting the hang of very quickly.


Colt is neutered, microchipped and heart worm negative. He is up to date on his shots. You can apply to meet him at www.straysoulsanimalrescue.com. His adoption fee is $300.
