Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Keeper's owner planned to "keep her" forever, along with his 3 other Dobermans, until he passed away. The dogs spent most of their time in relatively primitive conditions and had never seen a vet, but they were fed well and truly loved. Keeper is now ten years old and has never seen anything other than the isolated property where she spent her entire life. Since coming into rescue, Keeper has shown tremendous resilience and has quickly adapted to a cushy home life. She's been patient and tolerant with her vet visits and her spay and mammary tumor removal, which required 38 staples! He blood work came back good and other than being treated for Lyme disease, she is in very good health.
Keeper is an amazing loving girl who wants for very little. Her favorite past time is finding a comfy spot and sleeping. She will make a great couch potato for anyone looking for a calm and quiet companion.
