My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Antoine! He started his life roaming free but is ready for a proper home to give him the love he deserves! We are unsure of his breed, but it likely includes shepherd or even husky. He's friendly with people and loves belly rubs. He wants to please his humans and is quite trainable. In just a couple months he has learned house manners and how to walk on a leash! He still doesn't understand this whole concept of fenced yards since he is used to roaming, so will need a tall, secure fence and plenty of walks! He's very athletic and would be a great hiking/running/adventure buddy.

Antoine does not do well with cats, and is dog-selective. He has no leash aggression or resource guarding issues, but prefers to interact with new dogs on his terms and does not always get along with male dogs. He is playful with other dogs once he knows them and gets along fine as long as they respect his space. Because of this, Antoine would do best with someone with dog experience who can help him improve his social skills and adjust to life as a proper pet. He's a great dog and will be rewarding to work with.
