Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ava is a sweet 10 yr old pug/beagle mix, weighing about 20 lb.Don't let her age or size fool you.She is a spunky, lean, energetic girl w/the attitude of a big dog.Ava LOVES people, pets & kids. She is a very kind dog.She lives w/2 cats & 5 chickens & lives in peace w/them all. She also lived w/our German Shepherd (recently passed) & definitely tried to take on his personality. She loves to run w/the big dogs! She knows her basic commands, but can be stubborn at times & we feel she would do best with people who have experience w/dogs.She is very smart & a quick learner, even at the age of 10. She loves to go on walks & does very well on a leash. Ava is crate trained & prefers to sleep in her crate at night. She would flourish in an active home with kids & pets.Ava came to us from a family who could no longer care for her.She used to have seizures, but no longer does and doesn't need meds. She is prone to skin infections (common to pugs)so she requires a weekly bath, which she handles very well.
