Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kaya is very loving and playful. She loves walks, running at the dog park, and to learn new tricks. She is stubborn but is also very intelligent and learns tricks quickly.
We got her a year ago from a shelter and she’s come a long way, but the owners that had her prior to us were abusive so she has difficulties at times. We know that she was abused because she shows signs of fear aggression when her paws are touched, around towels, and when she is woken up suddenly. She also has separation anxiety so she needs someone to either help her with these symptoms or that will be around often. She’s slowly improving with these fears but she needs someone to continue her training.
Each of the above mentioned obstacles can all be improved with additional patience and time. The only reason why we have made the difficult decision to surrender Kaya is because we are moving into a home with family and their dog doesn't get along with her. Please help us find her a welcoming rescue or home
