Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Muffin's "daddy" (my father-in-law) died in the summer of 2018. My mother-in-law fell and broke her hip in spring, 2019. We took in Muffin as a temporary solution, but the mother-in-law decided she no longer wanted to keep Muffin, so she would just take the dog to "the pound." We weren't going to let that happen, so we chose to keep her. Unfortunately, the past four months have been a disaster for us, our three dogs, and for Muffin, who is 10 years old and has no health problems. Our dogs are "dawgs" and like to run, play, and wrestle. Muffin is more of a diva who barks to get her way. She's not a good fit for us, and we're not a good fit for her. She really has a sweet side, likes to cuddle, eats healthy, sleeps well, and can be very affectionate. She's also lost some weight because our dogs force her to run, often against her wishes. She needs a better home situation than we can give her, and if she goes to a new home, we'll be able to start fostering with dogs that are better fits.
