Howdy! My name is Lucky! I am a super friendly boy and I love to play! I am also very smart! I'm not really sure why my former owner abandoned me on a street corner and tied me to a pole. I'm a good boy, I promise I am! I was taken to the city kill shelter and I waited for my owner to come get me, but no one ever came. Then, they told me my time was up. I didn't know what that meant, but I knew it wasn't good. Luckily for me, only minutes before I was scheduled to be euthanized, my foster mom saw my picture on Facebook and told the rescue she volunteers with that she would like to save my life and foster me until I could find a new family. Hot diggity dog! That was my lucky day! So, she named me Lucky and I have been hanging out at her house. I'm learning things very quickly. I have learned my name and I am already house trained, crate trained and have learned to "sit," "give paw," "lay down" and I am learning not to jump on people and what cuddles are. I am eager to learn. I share my foster home with several other dogs and cats and I am great with all of them. All I want is to play and be loved. My foster mom also says that I am very sweet and that whoever gets to adopt me is going to be one lucky family. I would be a great companion for a family with kids or an active couple that would like to take me on adventures. I would make an awesome hiking or running buddy, but I am really up for anything! As you can see from my video, I am even good at playing by myself! I am estimated at 1 year old and I weigh 40 pounds. I have been neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped. I'm ready to find my new forever family! My adoption fee is $650 (that includes ground transport from Houston, TX to the Seattle, WA area). Ground transport is arranged to my new family upon finalization of my adoption. Please pick me! I promise you will not regret it! We will be the best of friends!
