Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Description of pet
Colt is an Amazing, Intelligent, Active dog.
COLT: Will NOT going to just anyone.
PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU :
*ARE NOT a Confident Dog Leader
*DO NOT have Experience with Guarding breeds
*Do NOT OWN a home with a FENCED in yard.
We would love to find someone who would enjoy participating in ADVANCED OBEDIENCE TRAINING, Agility, Search and Rescue, or at the very least an avid runner, hiker , daily distance walker.
Colt is very smart, he knows sit, down, chase your tail, speak, roll over, get it, leave it, he fetches and brings things back.
He loves to play catch, fetch and tug. He also will carry his bowl around sometimes.
Colt came to us after not being treated for his EPI and was supposed to be euthanized by his owner before we stepped in.
Colt has EPI Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency and basically all he needs is a pancreatic Enzyme sprinkled on his food so he can absorb the nutrients.
This enzyme will cost about $100 a month for his Pancreatic Enzymes.
Colt is expected to be over 100bls when he gains all his weight back.
