My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pongo is a very special boy. He was found on a canal bank out in the country by a good Samaritan who at first thought he was dead. He brought the pup to County Road Rescue not knowing his condition. We figured he had either been hit or had Parvo. Parvo won, but Pongo won the war! After a week in the hospital with IV's and antibiotics he was able to come back to us to finish his recovery. Pongo has been given a full bill of heath and is truly become the puppy he was meant to be.

He is a typical puppy with puppy energy and sooooo much love. He gets along with other dogs, old and young, big and small. He can play with the rough ones and respects his elders. Because of the Parvo he might no get as big as a typical Catahoula. He's about 20 lbs now and just full of life. He no longer has Parvo and is no longer contagious. All pets should be vaccinated because the Parvo virus is everywhere.
