My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

CURRENTLY IN FOSTER HOME IN PENNSYLVANIA. March 2021. Hudson is a handsome 4 year old Redbone Coonhound weighing about 70 pounds.
Hudson is a playful, loving, happy and energetic hound. He gets along well with calm, confident and well adjusted dogs medium to large in size. He is not compatible with cats or small dogs. Hobbies: Treats and walks. He is always eager to meet new people.
Hudson has not displayed any resource guarding. We are recommending children in the home be age 10 or older due to his size and energy.
Hudson is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heart worm negative and healthy!
No apartments or condos will be considered. A fully fenced yard will be required with a five foot fence.

Hudson's owner had plans on participating in water racing with him. Hudson was not a big fan of this sport and for that reason he was surrendered to rescue to help find him a suitable home.
Hudson has been in the care of the American Lurcher Rescue Project since October 2019. Initially in a boarding facility, and now in a board and train kennel. Hudson has not had the opportunity to be the house hound that he so deserves. He will require his forever family to have realistic expectations and be willing to work on his housetraining. Most hounds new to house living are very quick learners.

Transport is available within the US to an approved applicant.
