My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Duck, Duck, Goose!

Meet Goose, a dog who loves the universe and all it has to offer! He’s the cat’s meow, but for some reason doesn’t like cats. Hey, nobody’s perfect!

Goose is a 2 year old, 70-pound pit bull living with a foster family in Framingham, MA. Besides being adorably sweet and friendly, Goose is neutered, housebroken, up-to-date on shots, and crate-trained.

He’s quite the catch as an all-around great dog. His only obstacle is to overcome sadness for having to leave his previous home. You can see his sad eyes captured in some of his pictures. Goose’s photographer said, “This is a dog that is ready to give a lot of love to the lucky people who adopt him. He is very responsive and eager to please. He came right up to me and let me rub his belly.” We’re certain it won’t take long for Goose to feel himself, once he’s home with a forever family. At that point, let the lovin’ begin!

Goose will be placed with super special people. He is fine with other dogs; children over 10 are best because a happy bouncy fella’ with a naturally strong build could easily bump into little ones.

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
