My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Simba loves his sister. He started out as the runt, always meowing for attention, but now he's a bold climber who is nosy and mischievous! He would do best with another companion animal - maybe his sister? You can't go wrong with this fancy love bug!

He would be great in a home with lots of love and affection. Good with people of all ages.

Our required adoption donation is $150 per kitten or $125 per cat (older than 9 months). All our rescues are up to date on shots, microchipped, tested for FIV/FeL. They are dewormed, treated for parasites and free of fleas. Each is spayed or neutered and given a rabies vaccination. An application must be completed to be considered to adopt from Stray HELP. You can complete the application from our website OR you can pick up an application at Poughkeepsie Petsmart.

We raise our rescues in foster homes and are familiar with their individual personality. They are accustomed to people, phones, radios and tv; all the noises of home life. We work with perspective parents to find their perfect match.
