My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Abigail, and I'm a sweet, friendly, outgoing black DSH/ Bombay mix gal with a shiny patent leather coat and copper-penny eyes who was born in June 2019. Am I not the most adorable, beautiful, and sleek little girl ever?
My siblings, Adele and Ace, and I ended up at a shelter as orphaned kittens. Fortunately, our future foster mom got us out of there so she could find us forever homes. I get along with everyone -- including the resident small dogs as well as the other kitties in my foster home.
I like it here, but I realize it would be best if I had a home of my own. I think I'd be perfect for any family. By the way, if you want to adopt two, consider one or both of my siblings too! Two or three is more fun than one, and we could keep each other company while you're at work or on vacation. No matter what, it would be a shame for a kitten my age not to have another feline playmate in my new home with whom to roughhouse, groom, cuddle, and comfort me.
I hope that you'll arrange to meet me (and Adele and Ace, for that matter!). I know that you'll fall in love with me when I mesmerized you with my big gold eyes!
Please don't be superstitious of black cats! You know, Groucho Marx once said, 'A black cat crossing your path signifies that the animal is going somewhere.' Buster's Friends makes a concerted effort to rescue black cats and kittens from shelters because they are five times more likely to be euthanized than any other color of cat. However, many people who have had a black or Bombay mix cat before end up adopting another one because they seem to have such wonderful personalities and are emotionally stable and well balanced.
Abigail is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for her indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted. Her adoption fee is $125 (discount for a pair or trio) for kittens 9 months old and younger, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the contact button if you are interested in Abigail, and we can let you know exactly where you can meet her.
To adopt one of our cats, you must fill out our adoption application and be approved by one of our adoption counselors. To make the process more efficient, submit the online cat adoption application at https://www.bustersfriends.org/cat-adoption-application.
