Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Valentino
3.5 years old.
He is very gentle, sweet and alittle shy first.. but he is VERY friendly and affectionate when he gets comfortable with you. He likes gentle petting. He would do best as an only pet unless it's a quiet dog that pays him no mind in a quiet home.
Valentino does have FIV
Many people are scared of FIV because they dont understand what it is….. FIV stands for feline immunodeficiency virus. FIV typically causes a weakening of the cat’s immune system. There are no specific signs of FIV infection. FIV-positive cats have a weaker immune system, so they are more prone to getting infections. Other than that, FIV-positive cats tend to live normal lives and have a normal length of life. Since their immune system is weak, they are not suitable for outdoor life. (not that any cat is) FIV is only contagious to other cats thru blood, so it is very rarely spread unless cats fight very aggressively. Many people, including most of people, including us in rescue, have cats with FIV living wonderfully with other cats.
