Bo is a Blue Heeler that is just over a year old. He is very loving, loyal, tries his best to be obedient, and wants to please you. He needs to go to a family that has experience with the breed because they are smart and can be stubborn with certain behaviors. We have had him a few months from a previous owner but it's not going to work out with our family.
He is potty trained but if you have other dogs he will mark in the house. I am still trying to break him of this habit. He also tries to herd children by nipping at their ankles if they run. He will stop immediately when told to and has never attacked or bitten anyone. He is very submissive and knows when he has done something right/wrong. I don't want to break him of the nipping because it's in his breed and the methods to make him stop are too cruel.
That's the main reason I want him to go to a home where he can herd something besides children. He adjusted quickly to our family so I'm hoping he can do the same somewhere else.
