Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Axl started his life living under a shed at the USO with his mom and 3 littermates. They were being fed by the USO staff once a day, so they had nourishment. This lasted for about 3 months, and then they got rescued and taken to a foster home. They were so scared of human contact, had never been indoors, or seen a litter box before. But, with patience and love from the foster family, they started thriving and getting comfortable with the idea of being inside. Axl was the shyest, so he is the only one still living at the foster home. He will soon be going to the Petsmart in Jacksonville, on Yopp Rd. He has turned into such a cool cat -- you toss a toy to him, he catches it, then drops it so you can throw it again! He loves to be petted, loves belly rub and has the best purr! He needs an adopter that understands that he will be shy for a couple of days, until he knows you, and also understand that he will not show well in a cage at Petsmart. He will more than likely hide, as his mother does. That's just because they're scared of that small cage and window with people looking at them. Just give him a chance and you will see the awesome pet he truly is. These pictures don't do him justice! His eyes are a gorgeous shade of green!
