UPDATE: Fred has made improvements by leaps and bounds. He is a very friendly, happy go lucky puppy now who can't wait to find his forever home. He is mostly housetrained, and gets along with cats, dogs, and most children. He would prefer a home with children over 8 due to his rough start. What an angel Fred is!!! He is probably a mix, as he came from the same home as the other Louisiana rescue dogs. His former life was that of filth and severe neglect. His life has changed so much though since being rescued! He is a chow hound and after his lunch he fully expects to jump in his foster mom's lap for a belly rub. He is a little shy, but with time he warms up and is really a sweet boy. Fred weighs between 12 and 15 pounds. He needs work on housetraining but should learn really quickly. He does well in the crate overnight and when his foster mom isn't home. Fred is current on vaccinations, neutered and heartworm free. He is currently in foster care with his friends Ali and Aggie. All of these dachshies are very shy. They were all mistreated before coming to rescue. They are seeking a very kind, loving, and patient home. They have made so much progress since their arrival 1 month ago. I hope they can find the special home that they deserve very soon.
The adoption fees for Angel Paws dogs are $200 and include all necessary vet care. This means they have all been spayed/neutered, are up to date on shots, de-wormed, heartworm tested, started on heartworm and flea preventative, as well as had a full physical exam.
