Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Burt is being fostered in Chicago. BDRA will assist with transport within reasonable distance.
What we know about Burt:
*fun!
*loves people, including children
*housebroken
*fully blind and well adjusted
What Burt's foster mom has to say about Burt:
Burt is the most handsome, biggest-hearted dwarf you will ever meet! He has likely been blind since very shortly after birth and doesn't let it slow him down. He has so much love for everyone he meets and doesn't let anything hold him back. He does like to be near his people, but is crate-trained and though anxious at first, quickly settles. He is super confident, easy-going, and gets along with everyone and everything. He currently lives with 2 other dogs, 2 cats, 2 guinea pigs and an assortment of other exotic animals. He does love to chew, so appropriate chew toys and supervision is required for anytime he plays.
Though his eyes are not a problem for him now, he has multiple risk factors and is prone to developing glaucoma in the future. Therefore routine monitoring of his intraocular pressures will be needed long term. He is an amazing good boy ready to love you!
BDRA has voted against the use of electric fencing effective immediately.
