Hello my name is Melody. I am looking for my forever home. Let me tell you my story.
I am about 3 years old and life sure has not been very good to me. I had a person who only loved me for how much money my puppies could make them. But then they didn't even love me for that anymore. They moved away in the night and left me log chained to a shed with at least 9 puppies to try and take care of with no food or water. I don't know how long I was there but I was so hungry and thirsty and I did not have anymore milk to even feed my babies. We were all starving and going to die a horrible cruel death.
Then one day when I thought all hope was lost a nice lady showed up. She gave me food and water and gently rubbed my head. She put me and my babies in her car, where it was cool and soft. Did I mention that I like to ride in cars, anyway I did not even fuss that she was holding my babies because I knew she was a kind woman and she was going to help us all.
Away we went down the road to the place she kept telling me was the Vet. This vet word I did not know but if the nice lady said it was ok then I was going to go. My babies were crying in the back because they were so hungry but I could no longer help them. I placed all my trust in the nice lady,
We got to the vet place (which turned out to be a doctor man). There were lots of nice people there. They took me and my babies to a nice quite place and gave us all some yummy food and milk for the babies, which made my heart glad. Their bellies were full and they were not crying anymore. The doctor man and all the pretty girls there checked me and my babies over. They did some tests and gave us some medicine even some with a needle, but I was so brave I did not even mind. They got rid of those itchy fleas also. The doctor man said I am heart worm Negative which must be good cause all the pretty girls were happy. We all got to spend the night with the doctor man and the pretty girls which was very nice. When the nice lady came the next day I was so glad to see her again, I gave her a kiss.
The doctor man said that I was not able to take care of my babies any longer. So we all had to go to new places to stay. So I went to stay with another nice lady who gives me lots of love and food. I get to run and play in her yard and sleep inside her house where it is nice and comfy. My babies went to live with another nice lady, who loves them and gave them lots of food and milk so they would grow. The nice lady I stay with told me that one of my little babies just could not make it and he has left this earthly place. I'm sure I will see him again one day.
Now that I am healthy and put on a few pounds the nice lady that saved me took me back to the doctor man who fixed it so I don't have to be a mommy anymore.And gave me more medicine so I won't get those itchy fleas or the worms that live in your heart. I am so happy that I just run and play all the time.
Now I just need a forever home with someone who likes to play, go for walks, likes to ride in cars too and hang out on the couch with me forever and ever. Could that be you?
