My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Morty! This precious little dude was found wandering an alley in Chicago and is now looking for a Forever Home.

Morty is all Pomeranian and has the personality of about five dogs! He is happy, goofy, and super friendly to everyone he's met so far in his journey. This little man is very typical of the Pomeranian temperament, going 100 mph with his tail wagging and smile blazing. He does enjoy a good cuddle as well, however.

Morty would do amazing in a home that truly appreciates toy breeds, specifically Pomeranians. Morty is learning to love his crate and calm time when left alone while he is in foster care. He is also in the process of potty training and will need a structured and consistent schedule for potty breaks before he is trusted loose in the home. He is currently working on his basic training at Found Training Center in preparation for his new home and his adoption fee comes with a six week group class, along with the guidance of professional dog trainers in his new home.

Morty has been friendly and engaging with new dogs and even a cat that he has met so far in his time with us. His enthusiastic energy is difficult to ignore and he enjoys learning and training with his handler. He really is a great little dog to hang out with.
