My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lemon is a young adult standard grey female chinchilla, approximately a year and a half old. She was purchased from a pet store about a year ago and then surrendered as her prior owners were no longer interested in having her as a pet. She is very sweet and has a playful temperament. After she came into our care, we bonded her to another female rescue chinchilla who we named Lime. They instantly became friends and have been living together since. Both love to come up to the cage doors and hop out into your lap, they also love chewing applewood sticks and KD pine toys.

Lemon's adoption fee with Lime is $175 to ensure they go to the best home possible. This helps us to make sure the adopter is serious and to keep our rescue going. If you are interested in giving these ladies a furever home, please feel free to send us an email.
