HAMLET, PORTIA & COOKIE-dob: 08/19/2019-rescued from an unwanted litter' situation in WNC.
Their mama is white w/blk spots, German SpitzX @ ~18lbs(see attached pictures) and there are 2 Dads...Cookie's daddy is a 13lbs Blk & Tan Min Pin, so should be ~12>15lbs as an adult, while Portia & Hamlet's daddy is ~20lbs, tan w/blk muzzle SpanielX. So, they both should be ~15>20lbs, as adults. ALL parents have short legs.
Cookie, having been handled the most in her past situation, is the MOST outgoing and people-oriented. Yet, ALL are VERY SWEET and friendly. ​
They have not been around cats, but their personalities tells us that they would be fine with cats living in the home.
However, OLDER, experienced & respectful children(10yo and older) would be the best situation for their new homes.
A SECURED FENCED-IN BACKYARD or local dog park is required to be approved to adopt. A 4'h backyard fence should work well for both Portia and Hamlet. Though, NO PICKETED fencing for Cookie-might be able to slip through pickets-yep, she's that small!
These pups are scheduled for their spay/neuter surgery on Tuesday/Nov 26th and will be ready to go to their fur-ever homes on SAT/December 7th.
Adoption fee: $375 each-includes spay/neuter, micro-chip, 1st yr Rabies, Bordatella, 3 Parvo-Distemper(4th required at 4mo) and 1 Leptospirosis vaccines(2nd required at 4mo), all medical paperwork from day#1 at Howlin4Spirit including vet's surgical notes, utd health and Rabies certificates, 3lbs bag of current dry food(Tractor Supply Stores '4health' salmon & potato), Martingale collar & matching 6' leash, Nylabone OR Kong chew toy, T ball, 'SUPER PUPPY-How to Raise the Best Dog You'll Ever Have' training booklet, 'RESCUED DOGS ROCK' car magnet & 2 'pet alert' wallet cards.
These pups are in and will remain in foster care in Rutherfordton, NC until their fur-ever home has been approved.
Transport to VA, MD, DE, NJTnpk, Allentown&CarlislePA, JohnstonRI, ManchesterNH, BurlingtonVT, Long Island/Rye/Rochester/Syracuse and AlbanyNY is available via commercial RESCUED PET TRANSPORT.
Their fees are: $125 as far N as Vince Lombardi/NJTnpk and $140 to all points N & W of Vince Lombardi svc plaza, mm115.
