Here's what the humans have to say about me:
From WV to a shelter in CT (DAWS) we adopted Ruby 9/28. She is 8-12 mos, medium 33 lb retreiver mix, super soft (hairlike) reddish fur with black mask &white chin. Such a beauty & a playful girl too! So loving, friendly, affectionate, good with kids (plays with them daily), smart, agile & fun. Does great with invisible fence, basic commands, walks, hikes & fav is car rides & Fetch! Crate trained, house broken & leash trained. Loves to be near you, lay on your feet and leans into you. She is super smart & has started formal training. We adopted her as buddy for our 6 yr old cattle dog. Initially, they did well, but no longer get along. She has a big loving personality and likes to be the leader which he will not tolerate. We fell in love with this girl & are heartbroken our dog will not accept her. With a heavy heart we need to rehome her. Ruby should be adopted into an “only dog” household that has a yard & wants a true companion. She is a Velcro dog who will steal your heart!
