Meet Austin!

Austin is a male Rat terrier who’s approx 3 yrs old. His momma is his person. He is fearful of men, has never shown aggression, ( possibly some mistreatment in his past home life) he just stands far away and barks. With some time, yummy treats and patience he could come around nicelyHe gets along fine with other dogs but does not seek them out to play or for comfort. Russell Rescue is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) dog rescue organization. It was started in 2008 by Mary Ruth Rogers of Columbia, TN. Our mission is to save and re-home unloved, abandoned and abused dogs, especially the Jack Russell terrier. Most of our dogs come from high kill shelters in Tennessee, and other nearby states.
