Rosie is a sweet dog we adopted as a puppy and have had her a little over a year. She is 18 months old. We were hoping she would fit in well with our other pets, a yellow female lab and 2 cats. She gets along well with the lab for the most part, but has never got used to the cats, and traumatizes them when she has access. The Jack Russel in her considers them rabbits to chase! She has lots of energy, but also loves to sit and cuddle and loves to chew on a rawhide on your lap. She is well house-trained and enjoys going for walks everyday, but would do well in a fenced-in yard just to run around freely. She is healthy, eats well, and doesn't shed much with her short hair. We need to re-home for her due to a recent move. Our new home configuration is not working with Rosie and the cats, and with no possibility of fencing in a yard, she is not getting the exercise she deserves. This is difficult decision as she is a great dog, loves children, and is so much fun.
