IDGSR WELCOMES DAX INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!!

Dax Shepherd is a young male GS who is approx. 10-11 mos. old. He was confiscated from a cruelty case by local law enforcement in Tennessee along with 2 other dogs. When he came to the rescue we could see he was on the skinny side but he will never be neglected again. Dax is in a loving foster home and enjoying life for the first time. He is putting on weight and looking good. His foster mom says he has a healthy dose of talkativeness! Dax loves playing with his toys and having fun with the other dogs in the home. He is also great with kids. His foster family had a Christmas party with lots of kids and adults and Dax was comfortable with everyone. Even after what he endured in his earlier life, his sweet personality shines. Dax is available for adoption and is looking for a family of his own to love.

PLEASE READ. Regarding the application processing fee: IDGSR requires that all applicants submit a $20 non-refundable application processing fee. Please note that submitting an application and fee does not guarantee that you will be approved or guarantee the adoption of any specific dog, since that dog may have other applications being considered.
Each dog's adoption fee varies depending on the age of the dog.
$300 for any dog 1 year and younger (PUPPY)
$250 for any dog 1-6 years (YOUNG & ADULT)
$200 for any dog 7 years (ADULT SENIOR)
All our adoptable dogs are up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing, monthly preventative, and have been spayed or neutered.
Everyone must submit an application before an appointment is made to meet the dogs. Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
All dogs are fostered in TN unless stated otherwise.
