Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Monty was found by a outside a gas station near Donnelly in December 2017. He was very malnourished but bright spirited. I didn't have the heart to leave him in that cold weather or his physical state. I chose to bring him home and have done all I can to give him love. I am sad to know that I won't be able to keep him under the living circumstances I now find myself in.
Monty is extremely kind, gentle and smart. He has a heart to please at all times. He hates the cold and loves to be as near you as possible, especially if that means snuggling in bed. Walks are easy with him, on and off leash. When on hiking trails or dirtroads I often let him off leash. He will never go further then he is able to see me.
He responds well to basic commands, loves to play, loves other animals and has a desire to protect his home (Never vicious, just has a deep bark).
He is a very good dog, in need of loving people, lots of space and other animals.
