Indie was born in Bryan, Texas in a cattle farm that belonged to an elderly couple. He is very sweet natured and calm. He is protective of property, but doesn't bark a whole lot unless there are strangers nearby. Indie enjoys children but not babies. He does get along with cats, will allow them in his area and plays with them, but does not like them around his food. I would say Indie is the sweetest companion for any family or single-parent (meaning human mom or dad) household. He will sleep on the floor in your bedroom without bothering. He doesn't jump on furniture or the bed. He knows how to sit and stay. He enjoys running by leash. He isn't a hyper dog at all like most Aussie's are described. Indie is a caring dog and is sensitive to harsh correction. It really isn't necessary with him. I would recommend this pup for a small family with maybe one other pet because he does enjoy company. If you love to cuddle with a friendly, loving dog, I recommend sharing your life with Indie.
