My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

“Belair”, is being fostered in Tennessee but can be scheduled on HEARTS Transport with 2 stops in CT. She has been in foster care 11 months recovering from living outside in a muddy pen the first 4 years of her life. Physically, she is in great shape and has had her teeth cleaned. She snuggles and loves being held. However, she is still fearful of whatever is loud or new. She has come a long way but needs to be in a dedicated home, not a 7 dog home as her fosters have. She longs to be with a person. She is never destructive and loves toys. She is learning to eat in a crate and runs in on her own but really doesn’t need a crate. She gives “high fives”, on a good day and shakes uncontrollably on a bad day. If you would love to love Belair and continue her recovery, call Debbie at 423-329-6749 to talk at length. Her sister from same situation has transitioned into a lovely home so we believe Belair can too.
