My story

Look at this girls smile! Raven is a super sweet mixed breed from Louisiana. She is around 3 years old and 50 lbs. Raven came to us with heartworm and successfully went thru treatment. She is now ready for her forever home. Raven is fully vetted, spayed, microchipped. She is crate trained and housebroken. Raven will do best in a home with no cats and quieter dogs. She gets stressed if other dogs are jumping all over her so another laid back canine would be best. Raven is very strong even though she is only around 50 lbs. She is also great with kids and loves car rides. Please apply at www.nepapetrescue.com. You can also text 570-357-8032 for more info.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All of our dogs are in foster homes where they are loved, evaluated, socialized, helped with any behavior issues, vetted and ready and waiting for their forever home. The fist step in adopting one of our dogs is to fill out an application. Adoption fees vary but range from $200-500 which contributes to the cost of spay/neuter, microchipping, vaccinations, wellness exam, boarding, transportation and pull fees, monthly heartworm, flea/tick prevention, food, treats, toys as well as daily socialization and activities, along with some basic training. Occasionally a dog in our care requires additional and often expensive medical care and/or professional training. Donations are always welcome! Each dog normally costs us way more money than the adoption fees cover, but we are here to help dogs and that is what we do! Vet references, personal references are checked and a home visit is done prior to adoption.

Go meet their pets

We have many adoption events throughout the month. We also do meet and greets for approved applicants.

More about this rescue

NEPA Pet Fund & Rescue is exactly that! We are a group of volunteers dedicated to helping people in Northeast PA pay for their dogs and cats to be spayed/neutered. We will also provide rescue of dogs when we have available foster homes.
