My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Taffy was shot twice! One slug is lodged under the skin on her left side and a .22 went through her right leg, BREAKING IT, then continued across her chest to rest on her left side under the slug. They can’t be removed now and the broken leg was left to heal on its own, making her bow-legged. Her blood-work revealed an elevated WBC and she’s also anemic. Additionally, most of her teeth are broken and several have exposed roots but they can’t be removed until she can be safely anesthetized. On the upside, she doesn’t appear to be deaf - just selective about what she acknowledges. She will start doxy, advantage multi, steroids and additional antibiotics, then we’ll reevaluate in several months and discuss dental work and spay if she’s improved.
