My story

Do you ever wish you could just sit on your deck, drink coffee, and never speak to another person as long as you live? So do I!! I'm 14 lbs of pure bliss for the right woman. I'm a bit grouchy for about 3 days in my new environment and then voila, i'm in love with you! I'm not very peoply. I don't want to meet your friends or our new neighbors. I would prefer to just hang out with you and lay on the grass, or a bed on your deck. You drink coffee, i'll play with a toy. It will be and you...just us...forever!

Donations can be available for immediate use if sent to Northeast PA Pet Fund and Rescue via PayPal

All adoption fees go towards getting the dog up-to-date on all shots, bordetella, spay/neuter, micro-chip, and all vet visits to get them healthy!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All of our dogs are in foster homes where they are loved, evaluated, socialized, helped with any behavior issues, vetted and ready and waiting for their forever home. The fist step in adopting one of our dogs is to fill out an application. Adoption fees vary but range from $200-500 which contributes to the cost of spay/neuter, microchipping, vaccinations, wellness exam, boarding, transportation and pull fees, monthly heartworm, flea/tick prevention, food, treats, toys as well as daily socialization and activities, along with some basic training. Occasionally a dog in our care requires additional and often expensive medical care and/or professional training. Donations are always welcome! Each dog normally costs us way more money than the adoption fees cover, but we are here to help dogs and that is what we do! Vet references, personal references are checked and a home visit is done prior to adoption.

Go meet their pets

We have many adoption events throughout the month. We also do meet and greets for approved applicants.

More about this rescue

NEPA Pet Fund & Rescue is exactly that! We are a group of volunteers dedicated to helping people in Northeast PA pay for their dogs and cats to be spayed/neutered. We will also provide rescue of dogs when we have available foster homes.
