Meet the sweetest, most lovable girl around! POPPY!!!!!
Poppy is a 7 year English bulldog that was used up by her previous owner and dumped out in a rural area of North west GA. When picked up by animal control she only weighed 40 pounds, she was suffering from eye and skin infections. It was obvious that she had been used as a breeder dog and discarded when she could no longer produce income for her crappy previous owners.
BUT.... That is all behind this happy forgiving girl! Poppy has since been spayed, had cherry eye removed, received her vaccinations, micro chipped, heart worm tested negative and is currently continuing treatment for her skin.
Poppy is partially blind due to the neglect she suffered before coming into the rescue. She does have chronic dry eye and will require eye medication for the rest of her life. The medication is very reasonably priced and makes a huge difference in her eyes.
This beautiful girl is good with other dogs, and loves puppies. she walks good on a leash, is house and crate trained. ( she can be trusted free run in the house ).
