Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Otis is an approximately 2 year old, 60 lb. English Pointer mix with the softest coat. The shelter listed him as an American Bulldog mix but we don't see that at all in him. He displays all the pointer characteristics; he is an extremely affectionate, kind-hearted, even-tempered dog who will make a very loyal companion for an individual or a family with an active lifestyle. We think he'd do well with children 10 and older as he still tends to jump at times and has also a pretty goofy personality. Otis has done well meeting our other large dogs here at our rescue and doesn't seem faced by much. He also met our kitties and was more afraid of them than anything and we think he could do well with slow introductions. He loves to cuddle and lay his head in your lap for hours on end. He rides well in the car, is great being handled, and is an overall loving sweet guy who at times can seem a bit aloof. He doesn't seem to be a chewer; and he is crate and potty trained. He walks well on leash when using a training tool. Otis is an overall great guy who will make someone with a more active lifestyle extremely happy.
