My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, my name is Larry! I found myself at risk at the shelter when I was diagnosed with tick fever and heartworm. Not fun, right? But a nice lady from Creative Contributions swooped me up and brought me to a great home where I live with a big dog, a small dog, and a cat. I know, a cat! I love them all.

I was medically treated and just got released from restricted activity. I can now have the zoomies in the backyard like the other dogs and it’s so much fun. I have learned sit and come and I’m working on my manners as I wasn’t taught them before. Can you believe that? But my foster mom says I’m the most affectionate and loveable dog and I’m doing great.

I like to go for walks and occasionally zoom around the backyard, but I’m generally pretty chill and always down for a snuggle. I’m learning that the car means great things like burgers and loving from new people. I may not have learned a lot early in life, but I’m sure making up for it now and will do anything for treats!

Now that I’m medically cleared and fixed, I’m looking for my forever home. I’m told black dogs have a tougher time getting adopted. Seriously! But look how handsome I am and prove them wrong.
