Izzy is a great dog that we’ve had for 9 years. We’re only interested in rehoming her because we recently had our first child and it has been too stressful on her and us. She hasn’t been getting the attention she needs and deserves, and in our small place, she is constantly accidentally waking our baby. She is great at entertaining herself in a big yard but is also happy to walk on a leash. She doesn’t do great with larger dogs she doesn’t know because she was attacked a few years back; however, she normally does great with small dogs. She has never bitten another dog but does bark at other dogs while on a leash. If off leash, she cowers away.
Izzy is loving and quirky. she loves sleep and will burrow far under the covers/blanket. As a Rat Terrier, she’s a little ball of muscle that loves to sniff and hunt. She can entertain herself in a place with enough smells On the energy spectrum, she’s a boom-or-bust. She’ll use as much energy as she can on a walk and then will sleep all day
