Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We rescued Nona almost two years ago after our son found her outside eaten up with fleas, almost bare back side. Our vet helped us reach out to microchip info- but all contact info was outdated, and no one has contacted vets in the area to claim her. We were fostering her until my cousin could take her, but that has not been possible. We already have a dog, and they both prefer being an “only child”. She is spunky and alert, loves being a lap dog, and you need to be willing to keep her coat groomed and vacuum- she sheds! She is smart and will learn tricks for cookies. She does okay with kids, as long as they don’t pull her hair. Probably better with 3yrs and up. She also has had about five small seizures since we have had her. They seem to be stress induced, and last no more than a minute. She is not in pain during them, and is not a danger to others. She just sits low to the ground until it passes. Because they are not frequent we have opted to not medicate. She loves Walks.
