Zima is currently being fostered in HOUSTON, TEXAS. She is available for out-of-state adoption as well to the perfect family. Her adoption fee is $500, which covers her transportation to her new family, and she is completely vetted
Zima is an approximately 6 Y/O Siberian Husky mix with mesmerizing blue eyes and a personality to match! Her name means “Winter” in Russian and that fits her to a tee. She prefers the cooler weather and you can find her lounging out in the grass on cold days (which we don’t get a ton of in Texas!)
Zima is a people dog through and through and wants to be with her humans over other animals. She does OK with calmer and/or older dogs after proper introduction, but would do best in a home where she can be the star of the show.
Zima loves her daily walks and will prance around and get very excited at the site of her leash. She is one of those that does need a daily walk but is not high energy when it comes to the exercise need. She does not like to be left alone for long periods, so a stay at home person or even retired family would suit her well. She is phenomenal with children and even babies, and just gravitates to them when out in public or with friends.
She has not had the best of luck in her life as we found her in July , abandoned on the streets and in pretty rough shape. She is now all fixed up and ready to find a new family to call her very own! She deserves the absolute best!
