My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We adopted Lotus from a shelter in 9/ 2019. She is a flame point Balinese. She is 5 - 6 years old. Her owner had died.

Lotus is a bit shy and slower to warm, but once she trusts you she is a total love bug. She likes to initiative contact and likes the most attention in the morning and evening. She enjoys sleeping next to the gas fire place for much of the day. She loves to hang out on your lap and absolutely LOVES to be brushed. Her meow is on the softer, quieter side - especially for a Balinese.

We don't have other pets so don't know how she would do. When we had guests for Christmas she hid the whole time. She will come out and allow petting if it's one or two guests. She does not like loud noises and prefers a calm environment.

We are looking to re-home because my work situation has changed and we will be spending too much time traveling out of state for work to have a pet at home. Lotus needs consistent love.

She has had five teeth extracted, but is otherwise healthy.
