Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Oats! He's an elegant handsome 5-year-old dog of unknown heritage, but surely he has some fine bird dog in his DNA. Besides his stunning good looks, Oats is incredibly smart and eager to please. He knows all the basic commands. He is crate trained, potty trained and a great leash walker, and he excels at ball catching. He is always up for a good game of catch and a romp around the yard but is easily talked into chilling out with his head in your lap. He is loyal through and through. Because he thrives on the simple life, he needs a laid back home free of young children and their sometimes overly exuberant and unpredictable behavior, and one where he is the only pet. Oats is a southern gentleman who would love lying on a high porch basking in the sun overlooking his acreage. If a distant critter caught his eye, he might demonstrate his graceful running style and take up the chase. He is a great dog in search of a great home. Ask to meet him and see for yourself.
